| After the initial reluctance of the Wedgwood firm in producing blue transferware, the Etruria factory started producing it
in 1806 with a series of Chinese and Botannical prints of hich quality. This small oblong platter demonstrates the quality of that
early production with superb detail in the printing and the normal high quality of potting. It carries the impressed WEDGWOOD mark
and is in very good condition, undamaged but with light crazing underneath and but one utensil mark.
