Cartouche mark of John King Knight and the impressed marks of the Knight Elkins & Co partnership reflect the
on off relationship between these master potters. Central panel depicts a castle overlooking a lake with three sailing boats,
3 male figures and a dog in the foreground with two women on the foreshore, castle, turretted bridge and mountains in the
background. Pale Blue floral design border.Excellent potting and superb printing, some light crazing under the glaze and just
one fleabite on the rim the plate is otherwise undamaged and in good condition.
